Role Summary

As a summer intern in BlueX, you will have opportunities to work on projects with mentorship from the team. You will have your own footprints in helping the team plan, design, and build compelling user experiences that excite and delight our consumers. This is a role that can challenge the status quo - we aren’t hiring to stay as we are, we want people here to shake things up and show us new ways of thinking.

Responsibilities

• Product Development Intern
  • Research on cutting edge tools for component sharing and then implement in ongoing projects to reduce engineering maintenance cost.
  • Analyze build process or app bundling output and do research for techniques that would help reduce bundle size or increase the speed of initial page load.
  • Work closely with other Product Development team members to grasp understanding of our codebase then assist refactoring for better type checking, error handling and overall code quality.
  • Co-work with QA to identify possible issues that might be a hurdle in web regression testing to further improve CI/CD for the front-end part.

• Basic understanding of programming
• Junior students in college or 1st year of master
• Able to work 5 days a week in summer 2023
• Good communication in English (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
• Good problem-solving skills and strong learning motivation
