Job Description
【Responsibility】
1. Collaborate with front and back-end developers to create usable websites for our clients
2. Collaborate with the rest of the tech team to create, optimize, and uphold good development processes
3. Work closely with other departments to ensure that technical implementations align with overall project objectives
4. Fix bugs and issues on existing sites
5. Work with PHP, Drupal, Wordpress, and other open-source platforms, as well as JavaScript frameworks
【Technologies we use】: Amazon Web Services, Nginx, Chef, Puppet, Ruby on Rails, MySQL, Node.js, Git, Jira
Requirements
【Position Requirements】
1. Proficient in PHP, including object-oriented PHP is the best
2. Experience working with SOAP services
3. Experience integrating Drupal user systems with external systems
4. Experienced with version control (Git preferred)
5. Experience MySQL or other open-source database applications
6. Experience with basic system administration in a distributed LAMP environment
【Other requirements】:
1. Adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and
is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
2. An affinity for crafting or the DIY movement in general preferred
