Job Description

As a Recruitment Manager at Cake, you will assist the clients in finding the right talent and reaching hiring & business goals. You'll also provide talent market insights and recruiting tips based on your professional experience with the team.

Starting with an online resume builder, nearly 5 million digital talents have used Cake to build career profiles and search for jobs. Thousands of companies use our services to find the right talent, including Job Posting, Talent Search, and Recruitment Services. Our rapidly growing talent database helps our consultants find suitable candidates in an efficient and effective way.

We welcome talent who has been a consultant/team lead role in headhunting firms, or has any recruitment-relevant experience, to apply for the position.

  • Serve as a key team lead of the Recruitment Team in helping to drive overall business operation, business development, sourcing, and client management, and match them to our clients.
  • Help our recruitment clients to build their teams and help them meet their business goals.
  • Lead the partial functions of the Recruitment Team to provide talent market insights, team management, and recruiting best practice based on your professional experience.
  • Ability to understand and contribute to the financial aspects of recruitment, including P&L (profits and losses), to ensure the efficient and cost-effective growth of the team.


    • Strong command of Mandarin in both verbal and writing.
    • English: conversational level.
    • Professional maturity – the ability to operate effectively and with self-discipline given ambiguity, diverse market needs, minimal micro-managerial oversight, and geographically dispersed teammates.
    • 5+ years experience in headhunting firms, or any recruitment-relevant experience and proven high performance and sales record.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environment while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality results.

      ▲Bonus Qualifications

      • Strong command of English in both verbal and writing.
      • 5+ years of sales experience is a plus: the ability to work under pressure and enjoy sales-related job roles.
      • Proven BD mindset – balanced short-term and long-term thinking; demonstrated track record of helping customers achieve business objectives beyond just selling products/services; ability to think like true partners and going outside the scope of sales or marketing function to help customers.

        Interview process

        There are three main stages in our interview process:

        1. Video call ( 30 - 60 mins screening )
        2. Take-home exercise & review
        3. Onsite interview ( 2 hours visiting )
