• Provide the focal point for advice and technical expertise in financial management, including the development of policies and procedures
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with statutory requirements and best practices
• Manage the budgeting processes to monitor, control, approve and evaluate costs, revenues and cash flows
• Create reports and variance analyses
• Continuously improving financial processes and identifying and enhancing efficiencies in processes
• Ensuring compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures, including coordinating audits and acting as primary contact for auditors and advisors
• Maintain key relationships with banks, auditors and other third parties
• Establish key performance indicators and monitor ongoing performance
• Develop policies, standards and guidelines in respect of accounting procedures concepts and methodologies
• Provide leadership and management to the business unit, within the scope of the position's responsibilities
• Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray our group in a positive manner
