CakeResume In a Nutshell

CakeResume creates an accessible free resume/CV builder for users to build highly customized resumes, with the intention of helping job seekers to fully display their value. Since 2016, we’ve attracted over one million users to build career profiles and search jobs on our job portal.

We're looking for a talented SaaS Support Specialist that can meet our high bar, wants to take significant ownership of parts of the platform, and is a great fit for our open, driven, and collaborative team culture.

The Role and Your Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities include supporting CakeResume’s local/global users and helping resolve any platform-related questions. To do well in this role you need to be able to quickly learn new feature releases and be confident in helping the user with any support-related matter. Excellent communication and a customer-centric mindset are a must.
You play an important role to create the best user experiences and are the link between the SaaS operations and product team, and users.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer support or customer success is a must.
• Strong communication skills in both Chinese and English. Able to respond, communicate with users and in a professional manner.
• You are a tech-savvy person and a quick learner. Have a passion for SaaS startups – eager to learn CakeResume’s products and services.
• Professional maturity – ability to operate effectively and work independently with self-discipline and minimal micro-managerial oversight.
• You can work a minimum of 12-16 hrs/week, including remote work over weekends.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience in SaaS platforms or technical support is a plus.
• Familiar with CakeResume’s resume builder and user lifecycle, and understand CakeResume’s value.
• Familiar with customer support tools such as FreshChat and FreshDesk is a plus.
