This is a contractor position with possibility turning into a full-time position in the near future.

Work closely with our teams in UK and US to build new product offerings leveraging the latest eCommerce and enterprise software technologies. Because we are an international team, fluency in English is a must-have. We are looking for individuals with can-do attitude and preferably with startup experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Comfortable to work as a solo engineer locally in Taiwan to design, and develop a new product prototype, or build a new feature set on an existing eCommerce platform working directly with designer and product manager
• Excited to play with different technologies and try new technologies never used before
• Strong in English communication and comfortable to work with team members in UK and US
• Work closely with product owner and other remote team members to understand product and system requirements
• Have a relentless focus on building user friend and performant web platforms to meet business needs

QUALIFICATIONS

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in software development
• Strong English proficiency, needs to be very comfortable reading English documentations
• Experience in API integrations
• Experience and Skills on one of the following Web Backend Development technologies: Java(J2EE)/Python/.NET/PHP/Go/Ruby
• Experience and Skills on Web Frontend Development technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and one of the following framework: React/Vue/Angular
• Proficiency in software design patterns
• Experience in SQL and relational database design
• Solid understanding of fundamental algorithms, system design, and data structures,
  and ability to reason through the myriad trade-offs that are present in large distributed systems
• Ability to multi-task, quickly adapt to new development environments, learn new
  systems, create reliable/maintainable code, and find creative and scalable solutions to difficult problems
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment

Experience in blockchain development is preferred

Three rounds of intereview: 

• Initial hiring manager behavior interview: 30-40 mins
• Technical interview, including a offline test
• Final intereview for language testing and cultural fit
