As a iOS Developer at Dcard, you will collaborate closely with brilliant designers, product managers and developers to build products that matter and create tools that accelerate growth. Join our team of developers to build the social network of the next generation. We code in a fresh monolithic repository and ship code every few hours, and most importantly, we're never afraid of using new and bold approaches to conquer challenges.

About our iOS Team

You’ll join a cross-functional team (which is called a delivery team at Dcard), working closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to develop either our social media, e-commerce, advertising or global products. You’ll face a lot of interesting challenges and work on reliable and maintainable products with high traffic. We focus on features and framework, and are not afraid to experiment with and embrace new tech stacks and tools to serve a better user experience.

What you'll do

• Develop readable code that is testable, reusable and maintainable
• Focus on design and implementation in our Dcard App.
• Understand our product strategy and work closely with our product and design teams to facilitate the roadmap and development of our app and services.
• Explore latest programing techniques/tools, focusing on improving our refactoring, testing and deployment processes.

What We’re looking for

• 1+ year of experience in iOS development
• Excellent communication skills and a team player
• Familiar with auto layout and programmatically layout
• Familiar with Git and have experience collaborating with multiple members
• Willing to explore new tech stacks/tools..etc

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience in optimizing app performance
• Ability to identify pros & cons of different solutions
• Great knowledge and experience of iOS UI/UX design principles.

Our Recruiting Process

All processes are expected to be completed within 2-4 weeks, our hiring process is subject to adjustment based on individual circumstances:

1. Online Interview - You’ll have a one-hour online interview with our iOS team members, mostly about past projects and coding questions.
2. 1st Interview - You’ll have a 30-minute session with one of the Talent Operations Partners (HR), where we would want to get to know more about your experience and background, what you’re passionate about..etc. Also, you’ll have a coding interview with the iOS team members and leader.
3. 2nd Interview - You’ll have a 30-minute interview with our CEO and another 30-minute interview with our Talent Operations Manager (HR Manager).
