The major accountabilities of this role include:

1. Good at negotiation, prepare and solidify various legal documents and contracts in both English and Chinese, including confidentiality, license and other IP-related matters, with domestic and international parties, to facilitate business development while minimizing risks and protecting the Company's interests;
2. Efficiently collaborate with cross-functional teams and subsidiaries in achieving corporate goals;
3. Support management to assess and advise on legal and compliance matters of varying levels of complexity which may arise in the usual course of business and work with management to devise and implement policies to mitigate and manage those risks;
4. Keep abreast of the evolving regulatory landscape in all relevant areas relevant to the Company's business and operations;
5. Establish and maintain contracts and relevant databases as requested;
6. Participate in other ad-hoc tasks as and when assigned.

1. LLM degree from accredited law schools in the US or other common law countries.
2. A US bar certificate is desirable.
3. Minimum of 5 years PQE, preferably in an international law firm or multinational company.
4. Fluent in English and Chinese including the ability to formulate and negotiate legal and commercial documents.
5. Ability to work effectively in a multinational company and cross-border environment.
6. Strong problem awareness and good problem-solving skills in identifying critical issues and finding practical solutions.
