Audio Manufacturing Test Engineer
Job Description
Job Responsibilities
• Test coverage and limit specification and deployment to the factory
• Design test fixtures for sub-assembly and full-assembly audio tests
• Measurement system setup and debug during engineering builds
• Software validation of manufacturing test software prior to production release
• Qualify the measurement systems using GR&R and station-to-station variation
analysis and reports
• Support engineering builds through mass-production
• Train CM engineers to debug and support the systems for mass-production
• Estimated travel of up to 50% travel
Requirements
Required Experience
• 2+ years of professional experience working on factory audio measurement systems
• High volume consumer electronics manufacturing experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with contract manufacturers (CM)
Preferred Skills
• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years of professional experience
• Experience programming in one or more of the following: C++/Objective-C/Python
• Experience with digital signal processing (DSP) and applications to audio test and
measurement
• 2+ years of professional experience working on factory audio measurement systems
