Responsibilities

• Develop of iOS applications and integration with back-end services
• Write clean codes
• Participate in peer review of codes process
• Mentor junior engineers
• Work with cross-functional teams that include project management, design team, testers, and other development teams
• Design and develop apps with excellent user experience and cognizance of performance, network and power usage, security, code maintainability and time to market
• Write reusable components (including business layer, software infrastructure, and UI); follow industry best practices in user-interface design, scalability, new technologies, content management & distribution, and general mobile device application development

Requirements

• Experience developing iOS mobile applications using Objective-C or Swift (4+ years)
• Experience with iOS front-end/UI development (Apple Human Interface Guide), Web services & XML/JSON/REST connectivity/consumption, and local storage databases
• Experience in iOS development patterns – MVC, Delegates, APNS push notifications, JSON/REST APIs, and multi-threading/background tasks
• Experience in agile development methodologies
• Excellent programming skills, including: 
  • Software Design 
  • Debugging
  • Documentation 
  • Testing 
  • Experience with Object Oriented Programming

Nice to Have

• Experience with Functional Reactive Programming
• Social or multimedia app development experiences
• Experience in test driven development, Continuous Testing, Integration and Deployment
• Knowledge of the mobile industry
• Intimate knowledge of the iOS devices, platforms and application marketplaces
• Experience bridging the gap between the creative, business and technical disciplines of mobile application development
