As a part of the ManageBac R&D division, the Senior QA Engineer role will work with our Product Department on the Quality Assurance of ManageBac and improving the User Experience.

ManageBac is the leading curriculum-first learning platform for IB World Schools serving over 3,000 international schools and the trusted choice of 4 in 5 IB Diploma students. ManageBac is a part of the FariaOne School OS.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and coordinate functional, regression, performance, integration and UAT testing
• Write, review and update test cases
• Define QA estimates, schedule and develop test tasks
• Analyze and document features of the product and business requirements;
• Testing web applications across the online platform;
• Execute exploratory, functional, regression testing;
• Root cause analysis of failed test and report issues/take corrective actions;
• Be an active member of the team, suggesting improvements of the processes to increase the quality of the product and performance of the team
• Enhance the product user experience

Skills & Competencies

• 5+ years of manual testing experience;
• Proficiency in software quality assurance and test automation
• Deep understanding of and experience with testing RESTful APIs and integration.
• Risk analysis
• Upper-intermediate English (written and spoken) and the ability to communicate effectively.
• Perform a full cycle of testing activities independently and without supervision.
