Department Overview
Network and Orchestration systems department in FARobot is responsible for building Swarm Autonomy solution to solve the non-standard dilemma in robotic market. Swarm Autonomy provides Swarm Core platform and Swarm Protocol which enable the agile integration, agile operation, and agile optimization for the intralogistics in factories and warehouses.

We are hiring people who will be in charge of developing the CI/CD system which is not only improving operational performance and efficiency but also ensuring the product release quality.

Responsibilities

• Plan, build and manage the CI/CD pipeline
• Design, develop and integrate auto build into CI system to improve current release procedure
• Design, develop and integrate auto deploy into CI system and manage the release version
• Design, develop and integrate auto test into CI system and collaborate with RD and QA to ensure end-to-end quality
• Design, develop and integrate auto code quality check into CI system

Requirements

• BS/MS/Ph.D degree in computer science or related field
• Experiences with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, BitBucket, Artifactory)
• Experiences with container-based technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• Experiences with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
• Experiences with Linux shell and Python script programming
• Better to have experiences with software development in Linux
• Better to have experiences with cloud-hosted computation (e.g., AWS EC2, Azure VM)
• Better to have experiences with ROS/ROS2, Unity, or other robotics software

• Self-motivated and able to solve problems independently
• Working simultaneously on multiple projects, in a team or independently with little to no oversight.
• Desire to work as part of a team: the overall success of the group is more important than your individual success.
• Comfortable working in the less formal context of a startup business.
