About StraitsX

StraitsX is the pioneering payments infrastructure for the digital assets space in Southeast Asia developed by Singapore-based FinTech Xfers, a Major Payment Institution licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. StraitsX issues the Singapore dollar-denominated stablecoin (XSGD) and Indonesian Rupiah-denominated stablecoin(XIDR). StraitsX offers personal and business accounts to mint and redeems StraitsX stablecoins, manages payments as well as connects their accounts to digital asset platforms. Business accounts can also access B2B API-enabled payments rails for digital asset platforms.

Responsibilities

• Work with fellow engineers, product managers and business owners in the team to ensure requirements are sound and met
• Design and develop internal tools for business operations, including day-to-day transaction management and transaction monitoring
• Build and maintain auditing tools to ensure the financial integrity of our digital wallet
• Building and maintaining tools and processes to ensure that our digital wallet APIs has a high success and correctness rate
• Develop and maintain our digital wallet, including the corresponding APIs to ensure the success of our clients
• Safeguarding the security aspect of our digital wallet world-class to maintain our track record of zero hacking incidences
• Keep pace with the developments of digital assets in the region

Nice to Haves

• Experience with MVC frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Laravel or Java Spring
• Experience with managing complex sequences of background jobs and callbacks
• Experience in developing on a large legacy production codebase
• Experience in auditing, accounting and reconciling financial statements at scale
• Experience in development in a zero-downtime CI/CD environment
• Experience working in a blockchain environment in the region
