PROJECT DESCRIPTION

• The project is to build a healthcare platform for a customer which is a big international company. The platform will help end users to manage personal health info, insurance info, access to community, events and activities to improve and maintain a healthy life style. There will be interesting activities and points awards, presents, vouchers and other events. The company will be able create and manage the content, interact with end users through different channels, manage the health-promoting events. The platform will use latest technologies, and include mobile apps and web apps. This is a long-term project where the team will continuously improve the core platform and customize it so that it can be deployed to different countries which have different business model.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• We are looking for a Java Back-end Developer who has good English communication skill to work with customer and onsite team in Hongkong.
• Undertake the development tasks according to the specific requirements of the project and complete the task objectives as planned.
• Meetings with the design teams (customer/onsite) to discuss needs of project to propose software solution. Helps resolve customer request and issues.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations (strong presentations skill) explaining solution to customers and team. Provide technical leadership to the delivery team.
• Response to technical issues in professional and timely manner.
• Troubleshooting integration issues. Setting performance tasks and goals.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Solid background in OOP, Object Oriented Design Principle, Design Pattern, CI/CD process, RESTful APIs development.
• Must have at least 3 years’ working experience in Java
• Hands-on experience in full-stack / backend development using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, Kafka, PostgreSQL/MySQL.
• Experience in design and implementation of Microservice system on clouds AWS/Azure.
• Clean code mindset & good problem-solving skills.
• Strong commitment to quality and timeline of deliverables.
• Ability to discuss with customers in English.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum development methodology.
• Ability to work in a team environment. (onsite/offshore communication).
• It Would Be Great If You Had The Following Experiences:
• Business Process Development – Jbpm & Rule-based Engine – Drools.
• Frontend development with React Native
• Azure cloud services & containerization - Docker, Kubernetes.
• Log Aggregation & Monitoring: ELK, Grafana, Prometheus.

DevOps knowledge: Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, SonarQuBe
