- B.S. and/or M.S. in Computer Science or Mathematics (or equivalent)

- Strong background in computer science (algorithms, data structure, software design, reliability, maintainability, etc)

- Knowledge of JavaScript and/or GoLang

- Knowledge of cryptography with experience developing custom crypto libraries

- Well versed in security and with a good understanding of security best practices from an application development standpoint

- C programming knowledge.
- Unafraid of Math.
- Elliptic Curve Cryptography.
- Security and other comparative information security certifications are preferred, that show an understanding of information security principles.
- Good knowledge in a technical skill set that supports one of the Applied Cryptography's core services.
