At emerging and growing trend of network function virtualization, here we aim to provide versatile compute platform to speed-up the cloud-native adoption in Telco and enterprise application.
You will work on software platform integration among our several hardware compute platforms, and contribute to building of prove-of-concept and reference design solutions, specifically to 5G RAN and cloud-native solutions.
As a software developer in cooperating closely with hardware expertise, you are anticipated to delivery integrated, reliable, scalable and portable software platform.
Responsibilities
• All phases software development cycle, including design, bring-up, integration and testing
• Reference and proof of concept application development and maintenance
• Board support package early validation and evaluation
• Testing initiative and integration with quality assurance team
• Familiarity with 3GPP and O-RAN spec, especially to the RAN parts
Requirements
Technical Experience
- Proficient in C/C++ programming and with hands-on tooling skills, including source code control and scripting programming
- Linux system application and kernel driver development
- Linux networking application development
- ARM64 architecture SoC development, including bring-up and debugging
- Board support package development and framework integration, i.e. Yocto, OpenEmbedded
- DPDK framework development
- Architectural understanding of 5G RAN, C-RAN and D-RAN architecture
- Linux container application development (plus)
- IEEE 802.3 layer 2 switching knowledge and IEEE 802.1Q series protocol knowledge (plus)
- IEEE 1588 precision time protocol knowledge (plus)
- MAC-PHY integration, i.e. (n)FAPI and eCPRI protocols (plus)
- O-RAN distributed unit ODULOW and ODUHIGH development (plus)
