Lumina Industries is hiring a Full Stack Wizard to spearhead our Applications team which focuses on Web and Electron. This role requires someone with a strong product intuition, as changes will happen quickly and wireframes will not be pixel perfect. You'll need to know how to play the balancing game between delivery schedule, technical debt, and and features. You should be able to tastefully cut corners in your sleep.

You (and your team) will need to be masters of "filling in the gaps" as we will be moving fast and definitely breaking things. This is a fast paced, detail oriented role, that requires focus and discipline.

You will report to the CTO, collaborating on technical execution and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Build and launch a cross platform Electron & Web application.
• Maintain our primary e-commerce page
• Integrate 3rd party solutions for CI, error tracking, analytics
• Help build and manage the engineering team
• Set dev workflows and maintain code organization

• 2+ years building webapps using modern frameworks
• Expert with 3rd party hosting services and tools
• Expert with ReactJS and related tools
  • Webpack, Redux, Tailwind, NextJS, etc
• Expert with modern linux development environments
• Expert with modern devtools such as CI, git, etc.
• Experience with RESTful APIs using Golang or Node
• Excellent speaking and written english
• Bonus: previously worked with ElectronJS
• Bonus: previously worked with C++ or node-gyp bindings
