Job Description

Greenpeace International is seeking a talented Salesforce Functional Support Specialist to join our international team, helping to support the users of our flagship global CRM system, “Universe”, which is built on Salesforce.  

This role is needed to ensure that Greenpeace uses Salesforce to deliver our engagement strategy and help build our campaigning vision to:

  • Inspire, mobilise and engage millions of people to campaign alongside of us
  • Reach and empower more of society to be directly involved in our work
  • Deepen supporters’ engagement, and contributions to our campaigns

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience of working in technology, especially database systems, who has strong conceptual and problem-solving abilities, and would appreciate opportunities to travel. It’s fast paced and requires skill, passion, and initiative.

We are ideally looking for a superb communicator, able to work in a culturally diverse environment, who enjoys working collaboratively to achieve common goals.

This is a full time position and long-term opportunity, to be based in Hong Kong or Taiwan. We offer flexible working hours and we actively seek to grow our people through training and development

As our Salesforce Functional Support Specialist, you will:

  • Serve as a point of collaboration between our community of offices in the Asia region and the Greenpeace International team to gather, document and communicate standard methodology and emergent ideas;
  • Help our national offices to implement the “Universe” platform and ensure users are well-trained in its use;
  • Help to assess the performance of the system and assist with proposing and testing improvements on our development roadmap.

What we are looking for:

  • 5 years professional experience in a technology focused role
  • Experience with CRM systems, ideally in a similar role - Salesforce knowledge being desirable
  • The ability and attitude to continuously develop and share knowledge about technology
  • Superb communication and presentation skills; Should be fluent in English (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment and handle tight deadlines
  • Willingness to travel
