Role of Project Manager

• Ensure projects are delivered on time and project delivery process is satisfactory for all parties involved
  

Responsibilities of Project Manager

• Take ownership of assigned projects and lead/coordinate members of relevant teams to deliver projects
• Set project milestones and checkpoint dates for each project to help ensure each project can be launched on time
• Set up project teams and ensure everyone in the project team knows their roles and responsibilities
• Maintain constant communication with project team members and help facilitate communication and relaying of information when needed
• For partnership projects, handle coordination and communication responsibilities with external parties
• Fill the gaps when certain responsibilities do not have clear/obvious owners

Requirements

• Fluent in Chinese and English
• 3+ years of project management experience in software/internet industry
• Familiar with technical terms and has worked closely with engineers/product managers in the past
• Strong team-working and communication skills
• Strong planning and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable leading meetings internally and externally in either Chinese or English

Nice to Have Requirements

• Have a software-related degree (e.g., Computer Science, Information Management)
• Have software coding or product management experience
• Have experience working in tightly regulated industries (e.g., medical, pharmaceutical, financial)
