Embedded firmware/hardware engineer to involve in all phases of embedded system development including schematic capture, PCB layout, HW bring-up, tooling, and firmware development.

Responsibilities:

• Leads design, implementation, and verification of both the hardware schematics/layout/tooling and FPGA logic design/embedded firmware coding for projects.
• Manages relationships with internal and outsourced development partners.
• Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with technology and development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality.
• Provides domain-specific expertise, leadership, perspective to cross-organization activities and supports.
• Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities.
  

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
• Typically 8+ years of experience.
  

Knowledge and Skills:

• Using electrical design tools and software packages
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience in overall architecture of electronic hardware for products and solutions.
• Designing and integrating electronic components, integrated circuitry, and algorithms into overall architecture
• Working experience or familiar with PCI Express Gen2/3/4
• Protocol knowledges (PCI Express, I2C, USB, UART, etc.)
• Server and/or PC architecture knowledge
• Embedded firmware development and debug (FPGA, CPLD, etc.)
• Verilog and C programming language experiences
• HW board design from schematic to assembled test board
• Signal and protocol analyzer experiences. Troubleshooting experiences
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language
• Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels
