Cloud, DevOps & Microservices Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a special person to join the Viveport Engineering OPS Team. We work to support rapid change on our leading virtual reality platforms to allow customers can explore, create, connect, and experience the content they love. You should be comfortable in an environment with fast-changing requirements and you always meet deadlines. Working in a small group that is part of a large team, you will use multiple cloud providers to deploy robust and scalable production microservices architectures.
Sharing documentation and training to colleagues should be second nature. 


●Excellent troubleshooting skills. Able to systematically work-through and diagnose complex problems. ● Ability & willingness to write clear and full documentation. ● Ability to provide clear technical training to colleagues ● Knowledge of microservice architecture principles and best-practice ● Data networking skills, specifications and concepts (TCP/IP, OSI model, TCP, HTTP, etc) ● Awareness of computer security risks; their implications, impact and mitigation strategies ● Able to plan robust and resilient systems ● Willingness to pro-actively learn new about new technologies and methodologies ● Knowledge of a wide variety of programming and scripting languages e.g. Python, NodeJS, Ruby, Java, Scala. ● Good communication skills, both written and verbal ● Good English level, both written and verbal ● Must be strongly self-motivated and work well in a large team environment [Must Have] ● 2+ Years experience involving responsibility & accountability for production systems with 2000+ users ● AWS, 阿里雲/Aliyun, or other major cloud providers ● Hashicorp Platform tools e.g. Nomad, Consul, Terraform; or Kubernetes ● noSQL databases e.g. MongoDB, Elasticsearch [Nice to have] ● Using Docker in production ● Migrating from a legacy architecture to a microservices architecture ● Designing services to meet business and customer requirements ● Using Linux in production
