Job Description

You will be responsible for the development of all content for our daily social posts, brand campaigns, and influencer partnerships, in addition to managing content curation and planning and leading on-the-ground activations at culturally relevant events. You will need to lead our social strategy to create social creatives (such as videos and animations) that help drive brand awareness and consideration. This role requires extreme creativity, experience with social media tactics, and a deep knowledge of how individuals use social media—helping you to reach them.

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and/or review organic social media posts, including managing creative briefs, developing processes, meeting (sometimes tight) timelines, and measuring success.
• Plan and manage paid social media campaigns in partnership with our Content & Editorial Marketing Manager and Demand Generation Manager, including establishing marketing objectives, audience targeting, and success metrics.
• Lead and execute community management for social channels, including our overall social community strategy to drive conversations with followers and increase engagement with our content.
• Develop weekly and quarterly reporting that tracks business content performance, uncovers insights that will improve performance, and measures the success of applying these insights.
• Collaborate and maintain close relationships with cross-functional teams to maximize reach of social media efforts and ensure alignment across channels and content publishing/generating teams.

Requirements


Basic Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience at a social media agency or as part of an in-house social media team at a medium- to large-sized company, executing unique, fresh, and thoughtful social media strategies and campaigns across all channels.
• 2 years of social media community management experience.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and across organizational and team boundaries, including partnering with designers and creative agencies to develop visual assets.
• Passion for social media and visual storytelling, backed by deep platform expertise on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Team player who cultivates collaborative work environment.
• Agility, Customer focus, Adaptability.
• Effective communication to work with multiple stakeholders in strong matrix structure.
• Fluency in spoken and written communication skill with English. Chinese is plus to work with counterparts.
• Skillful at producing documents with MS office programs.
• Provide support to audit processes and quality management system as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Nonprofit or social impact-specific social media experience.
• Ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects in a fast-changing environment.
• Strategic and analytical mindset, comfortable using data to inform decisions, but also highly creative and resourceful.
