We are proactively seeking a cloud security engineer to join our growing team worldwide. In this role, you will create cloud-based programs, performing threat simulations to detect possible risks, and providing security recommendations on topics like microservice design, application development, and service configuration. We are seeking candidates who have a passion for a rapidly evolving portfolio of advanced technologies.

Responsibilities

1. Leads complex cloud-based security assessments and identifies solutions to enhance or create new business opportunities, integrating multiple technologies at times.
2. Provides technical and systems consultation and actively works with internal clients and technical management to eliminate risk exposures.
3. Conducts security and vulnerability assessments on new product offerings.
4. Works with DevOps engineers, cloud operation engineers, developers, and architects to implement secure coding practices, technical documentation standards, patching guidelines, QA processes, deployment procedures, and configuration management.
5. Develops and executes security testing plans which may include managing joint efforts with 3rd party vendors.

Requirements

1. At least five years of relevant experience in security operation duties
2. Linux and Windows operating systems
3. Familiar with cloud provider ecosystems like AWS, Azure, and GCP
4. Excellent attention to detail
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills
