InQuartik’s Intellectual Property data and analysis are the root of our SaaS business. As the Site Reliability Engineer, you will exploit your expertise to build a robust, reliable service for our global users.

Objectives of this Role:

• Run the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health
• Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications
• Measure and optimize system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating to continually improve

Responsibilities include:

• Gather and analyze metrics from both operating systems and applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding
• Partner with development teams to improve services reliability.
• Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning
• Create sustainable systems and services through automation and uplifts
• Create and implement backup and disaster recovery plan of production service

Requirement:

• Ability to program (structured and OO) with one or more high level languages, such as Java, Go, Pythan, and JavaScript
• Experience working in a distributed production environment.
• 2+ years of infrastructure automation and configuration management (e.g., Chef, Ansible, Puppet, Terraform) experience
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Preferred Qualification:

• Familiar with Solr/ElasticSearch is a plus.
