Responsibilities

1. Responsible for Android OS, improve security, performance and power management.
2. Work with PM, application software engineers and partners to understand requirements and specify interfaces for new and existing software frameworks.
3. Work on Low Level to implement HW support for various configurations
4. Work with Application team to debug functional, performance and stability issues across the stack
5. Participate in design reviews and code reviews for the platform team

Requirements

1. 5+ years working experience in Firmware architecture design development/Linux driver implement
2. Proficient in C/C++, Java.
3. OS concepts (multi-core processing, threads, processes, sockets, etc), algorithms, data structures.
4. Experience adding board configuration into bootloader and understanding system boot process
5. Experienced with SE-Linux, AOSP, Android HAL
6. Experienced in wired/wireless interfaces such as Ethernet, WiFi, BT, USB
7. Ability to troubleshoot critical and complex systems.
8. Experience with Android SDK, NDK, JNI and IPC mechanisms would be a plus
9. Experience with Android performance tools and security models is plus
10. Experience with power consumption optimization for portable devices is plus
