At Kiipo, we are building products that make the world a healthier place. Some of them even save lives!

To accomplish this we are looking for a frontend react developer that wants to help build a product from scratch. We need someone with experience working on teams and has the skills to create a clean consistent architecture.

Are designers and backend engineers looking to collaborate with you, and will not micromanage you with implementation details and harsh deadlines. You will have lots of autonomy and therefore also responsibility. That being said we work as a team, so you will have plenty of people to support you! If designing and building an app that will help the world sounds fun to you, and you have the skills to back the dream, we would love to have on our team.

We work with automated CI/CD pipelines and try to keep feature cycles small and fast. We want to be able to ship new ideas and features as fast as possible!

Requirements Skills And Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience working with React
• Experience with state management libraries (Redux, MobX)
• Experience using modern JS tooling like babel, webpack, eslint, and storybook-ui
• Experience writing unit tests in jest or a similar testing framework.
• A good fundamental understanding of Javascript async design patterns (callback, event emitter,promise, async/await)
• A good fundamental understanding of domain modeling (How to properly model data for an application/feature)
• A good fundamental understanding of the HTTP protocol and REST
• An excellent understanding of CSS
• You develop on either a MacOS or Linux machine

Bonus points for the following Skills:

• A good functional programming foundation
• Experience with reactive programming
• Experience using react hooks
• Experience with css in js librarys (Emotion, Styled Components, Glam)
• Experience with data visualization
• Experience using CI/CD services like TravisCI, CircleCI, or Github Actions.
