We're looking for infra/backend engineers to build service platforms containing streaming media technologies, such as Encoding, DRM and Live. You will work closely with streaming media experts to understand the detail of technology and build it in services as self-contained. The service is required to be highly scalable, performance oriented and an automated development process. Furthermore, the role you played will have a chance to pioneer the-state-of-the-art technology of service and connect to the world.

Responsibilities

• Build multiple service platforms for different aspects of technologies, e.g. Encoding, DRM and Live.
• Manage complex services at scale, e.g. distribute thousands of videos in one day.
• Architect and design software systems and write high quality code.
• Operate service with high reliability and optimize service cost continually.
• Help teams become more autonomous and allow the developer to focus on technical development.
• Partner with internal teams to troubleshoot problems of service.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of backend development experience.
• Experience with AWS (VPC, EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda).
• Experience with IaC such as Terraform.
• Experience with container technology, such as Docker.
• Experience with Kubernetes or similar clustering solutions.
• Experience with programming languages, Go or Python.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice To Have

• Knowledge of multimedia and adaptive streaming technologies, such as media container, Codec, MPEG-DASH and HLS.
• Understand the importance of smart metrics and alerting.
