As the Senior Consultant, you work with delivery and business development teams to scope and deliver AI-powered solutions to health insurers globally. You operate across a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders at CxO, management, and functional levels, to understand the strategic business objectives and deliver aligned value through technical solutions. You have the ability to distil complex requirements and rapidly design and present, strategies and solutions. You lead with empathy, pragmatism and have mastered the strategic balance of helping teams meet short-term client deliverables and moving forward towards long-term product visions.

Responsibilities

- Engage with senior client stakeholders in C-suite positions including CEO, CFO, COO, CIO, and other senior management.

- Work closely with business development, delivery, development groups to formulate AI-powered solutions.

- Assist business development and delivery groups achieve client success across pre-sales, sales, post-sales, and other support activities.

- Ensure client value delivery by understanding the strategic business objectives of clients and ensuring aligned technical solutions are delivered.

- Work directly with clients, providing clear communication for teams and management to ensure proactive resolution of potential challenges as they arise.

- Prepare and present presentations to clients at all levels of the organisation.

- Prepare proposals inclusive of quotations, solution outlines, business cases, resources, schedule, among other items.

- Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise across InsureTech, insurance, technology, data science, and AI / machine learning domains to clients and internally.

- Graduate degree (MS or equivalent) and preferably Master's degree or PhD in Information Technology or Business Administration. Similar qualifications desired in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Biostatistics, Computational biology or Medical Sciences.

- 10+ years of Management and / or Business Consulting experience with a strong understanding of insurance, insurance products, information technology, and data analytics.

- 5+ years of experience in Information Technology, Management, and Technology Leadership roles.

- Experience working in large enterprise IT environments and start-ups

- Experience in designing and building commercial grade technology platforms.

Personable and capable of working with C-suites teams internal and externally.

- Strong existing relationships within the IT, data science, and machine learning industries.

- Comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving startup environment which includes ongoing self-learning and an ability to transform multiple uncertainties and unknowns into executable plans and solutions.

- Bilingual or business proficient (English and Chinese - Japanese also preferred).
