Mobile Software Engineer
Job Description
As a Mobile Software Engineer at Lomotif, you will:
- Design and develop scalable, feature-rich mobile applications for Android
- Consume RESTful/JSON services to power applications
- Work with UI/UX designers to implement user-friendly solutions
- introduce new technologies into the team based on fit and suitability to deliver a solution
- Be able to deep dive into the technical aspects needed for the optimisation of mobile applications
Requirements
Min 2 years of experience using Kotlin for Android application design including concepts such as asynchronous programming, patterns, threading and performance tuning
Having proficient knowledge of the Android SDK and the application's life cycle
Understanding of separation of concerns using Android design patterns
Good understanding of simplified user-centric design
Ability to deep dive into the technical details, but never be out of touch with business requirements
Creative thinking backed by strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent time management and can work well with tight deadlines
The following would be helpful but are not required:
Knowledge of video space and technologies (i/b/p frames, h264, rtmp, ffmpeg)
Experience with AVFoundation, AVKit
Experience with Continuous Integration
Startup/entrepreneurial experience
This position is in Singapore, full-time onsite only, so you must already have, or be able to obtain, authorization to work full time in our Singapore office.
