Job overview

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Operations Manager for a leading entity, to be based in Dubai. This role requires someone who is expected to coordinate people and resources across various functions to manage operational risks on a day-to-day basis and will be responsible for all implementations pertaining to operational risk enhancements, controls and mitigation.

Job Description

• Establishing connectivity and onboarding for EMS and OMS
• Setting up and implementing operational workflows
• Determine where operational control gaps exist and improve work processes
• recording the operations handbook and procedures
• Manage day-to-day activities and settlement for Exchange platforms related to cryptocurrency trading, including but not limited to:
• trade scheduling
• Reconciliation of Transactions and Positions
• system and database upkeep
• Movement of fiat money between exchanges and custodians
• Management and reconciliation of collateral
• To handle trade and settlement concerns, coordinate with the internal team and outside partners.
• Calculating NAV
• Report on daily operations and risks.
• As needed, collaborate with front office on any ad hoc duties.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in operations or managing projects or management consulting, and 2+ years of team management
• Good understanding of financial and blockchain trading business
• Great logical thinking ability, communication skills, self-driven, and quick-learner
• Have a sense of responsibility, self-motivation, and a strong capability to work under pressure
• Native Chinese speaker and well knowledge in English are preferred
