Technology & Innovations

• Gain a thorough understanding of critical datasets, their current challenges, and holistic requirements
• Research new technology stack both cloud and on-prem and develop POCs
• Develop well-designed architecture to sustain long-term business needs
• Implement foundational changes that will provide structural improvements to meet all project needs
• Continue evolve and improve solutions as technology evolves

Customer Focus

• Work closely with dataset domain experts to understand how these datasets operate today, their challenges, pain points, and user needs
• Work with SMTS leadership, strategy leads on strategic requirements that will fulfil holistic needs
• Demo and promote the next-gen solutions to leadership and data engineering teams

Qualifications

Required Technical Experience:

• B.S. degree and above in Computer Science or related fields (Information Engineering, Information Management, Data Engineering, Applied Mathematics)
• 5+ years of experience working in big data solutions development
• Strong experience of using ETL tools (NiFi, SSIS, Spark)
• Application development skills and proficiency with Python, Java, SQL, NoSQL

• Experience with GCP big data services (BigTable, BigQuery, DataFlow, etc)

• Experience with Snowflake
