PenguinSmart is looking for a Marketing Consultant to help contribute to the development of our AI-assisted online rehab therapy services enabling more effective speech & language improvement for children.

Job Scope

• Plan campaigns to build inbound leads pipeline for new service offering - e.g. drive social media, web, SEO, engage online groups, implement growth marketing
• Generate marketing collateral for both B2C and B2B2C - e.g. brochures, testimonials, presentations, explainer videos, blogs, articles, sales enablement materials
• Drive content creation for social media and partners - e.g. videos, infographics, posts
• Revise and optimize company's digital properties (e.g. website, WeChat, Weibo, RED, Facebook, Zhihu)

Details:

• Time Commitment: 2-3 months project; full time or part time (flexible; minimum 20 hours a week to be considered); possibility to convert into longer term opportunity
• Compensation: will depend on relevant experience and time commitment; pro-rated based on monthly salary of NTD 40-50K
• Location: remote, but Taipei preferred. The candidate will be working closely with teammates distributed across the US, Taiwan, and mainland China.

Qualifications:

• Native Chinese Speaker and proficient English
• Bachelors Degree or above in Marketing, Business administration, New media, Communications, Public relations or related fields
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience

Qualities:

• Strong ability to empathize; excellent copywriting skills: you can understand different groups and can create compelling messaging for each
• Metrics & data-driven: you are not afraid of analyzing data to find insights
• Goal-oriented and self-managing: can plan tasks and manage own priorities & time to reach goals without requiring step-by-step instructions and constant oversight
• Comfortable with ambiguity: you can move forward when faced with uncertainty; in fact, you like bringing order to uncertain situations
• Humility and good sense of humor: especially critical for a startup
  
  

Good to Have

• Previous experience managing and operating China-specific marketing tools and social media accounts - Zhihu, Wechat, Weibo, SEO, Xiaohongshu, Douyin,etc
• Strong design & aesthetic sense
• Related experience with disadvantaged families or developmentally delayed children
• Experience in any of the following:
  • Marketing agency background
  • Digital marketing and online community building
• Project management
• Previous professional interaction with doctors, nurses, therapists, teachers and parents
