Job Description

As the Bilingual UX Writer, you will play a pivotal role as the primary translator, managing all translations between English and Mandarin for external and internal company products and communications. Working collaboratively across various teams, including software, hardware, marketing, sales, finance, and human resources, you will be responsible for crafting user interface copy in both languages, defining and maintaining the brand tone, and ensuring seamless communication across all facets of our business. This role requires a unique blend of linguistic proficiency, technical understanding, and a customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities:
1.Lead all translations predominantly from Chinese to English for external and internal company products and communications, covering all aspects of our software platform, app, hardware products, and more.
2.Work closely with the software team, hardware team, marketing, sales, finance, and human resources to ensure effective communication and translation of various materials.
3.Define and maintain the brand tone, ensuring consistent brand identity through text in both languages.
4.Manage translations in multiple languages, continuously improving the translation collaboration process.
5.Collaborate with product managers, designers, and research teams to define copy research questions and hypotheses.
6.Think customer-centrically to produce copy that is easy to understand and approachable for current customers, internal stakeholders, and potential prospective customers.



1.Bilingual fluency in spoken and written English and Mandarin.
2.Proven experience in crafting user interface copy, with a portfolio showcasing user research or writing-related work.
3.Strong oral and written communication skills, logical reasoning abilities, and the capability to clearly convey thoughts.
4.Experience and familiarity with user-centered design principles.
5.Background and experience in working with software products and translating technical documents is preferred.
6.Previous experience working for a B2B company, especially in software or technology, is highly desirable.
7.Enjoyment of working in a fast-paced environment and excellent cross-departmental collaboration skills.
