Job Descriptions

1. Senior firmware engineer will be responsible for design and development Wi-Fi software/firmware for NXP WiFi Access solutions.
2. Research, design, bring up, development, and unit-tests of software to productize Wi-Fi silicon and Reference Designs for NXP Wi-Fi Enterprise Access Point, Embedded Clients, and/or other related technologies
3. Participating in the latest industrial software requirements and design specifications, silicon bring-up, validation, tests, and implementation
4. Verifying various Wi-Fi HW blocks before chip tape out based on the defined spec. Product launch activities include supporting customer integration and troubleshooting complex issues, involving multiple domains
5. Supporting customers remotely or onsite as needed

Job Requirements

1. MS in EE, CE, or CS with 2+ years of related experience in semiconductor field
2. Proficient in C programming language. Working knowledge of ARM assembly is a plus
3. Strong embedded software development, integration, testing & troubleshooting skills
4. Familiar with ARM SOCs bring-up and validation, including built-in networking connectivity IP
5. Experience with developing standard based Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax) firmware features is desired
6. Experience with low level silicon bring-up and silicon validation is desired
7. Experience with PCIe/USB/SDIO bus interface is preferred
8. Team player and excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills
9. Independent, self-motivated and willing to learn
