We are looking for a Full-stack Engineer, someone who would be comfortable working on frontend features and making backend architecture decisions. You would become a part of our core engineering team, working on full-stack, end-to-end features that will make a difference for millions of underserved consumers and merchants in emerging Asia.

We are expanding our team in Taipei for Full Stack Developers. You could be a Full Stack with Frontend focus or Backend focus with extensive experience in JavaScript/Node.js OR Java.

Responsibilities:

• Build and create new features API for our apps (customer-facing and internal).
• We work closely with UI/UX designers and backend engineers and deliver high-quality, fluent and elegant web applications to our enterprise customers.
• Take ownership of specific modules, maintain it and make recommendations.
• Write clean, well-documented and efficient code.
• Design microservice and serverless system structure flow.
• We also need to follow CI/CD flow to ensure our product's quality.

Qualifications:
． Fluency in Mandarin and English.
． BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
． Strong experience in Java or NodeJS.
． Familiar with React, Redux or Vue.
． Solid knowledge on HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6), webpack, babel.
． Extensive RESTFUL API development experience.
． Experience working with cloud services like AWS, Heroku or Google cloud platform.
． Experience on different databases. Relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL, ...) or NoSQL(MongoDB, CouchDB, Cassandra).
． Hands-on experience in continuous improvement on application performance and deploy effective caching mechanism.
． Good analytical and problem solving skills.
