RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform engineering duties that require exercise of judgment and application of standard engineering principles and practices
• Supervise the testing, and commissioning of equipment into the field.
• Identify and monitor project milestones
• Communicate performance expectations to suppliers including quality, performance, manufacturing, capacity, system fit and costs
• Supervise construction plans and specifications interpreting data and proposing modifications, ultimately responsible for Electrical/Electronic system integrity
• Review drawings of electrical systems using computer-assisted design software
• Develop maintenance schedules
• Attend meetings on and off site
• Work in a problem-solving capacity, independently and in a team environment


Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field and 5+ years’ experience
• Experience with substation equipment
• Thorough understanding of standard engineering theories
• Understanding MV/HV relay protection.
• Understanding of substation design concepts
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents
• The ability to lead change, and to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
