Role

Our Technical Marketing Engineer is the authority on product's technical features and abilities by driving feature development, customer issues, and large scale customer-centric projects. You will collaborate cross-functionally with both Plume Partner Engineering and Product teams to build the future of the Plume Services running on partner OpenSync enabled devices. This role requires communication with our Sales and CPE vendor’s Sales team to ensure continued growth while working with our Support team to analyze and resolve critical issues.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as subject matter expert and key technical advisor for the Plume Cloud Services with our Partners
  • Represent the product’s features, roadmap and strategy to partners, customers, and executives
  • Drive cross team initiatives, investigations of customer issues and understanding feature requests
  • Produce technical and best practice documents as well as deployment guides for internal and external use
  • Build relationships with our Sales team and customers, acting as the primary technical point of contact for some of our most exciting products and partnerships
  • Create and deliver technical presentations for Plume products and services to prospective customers via webinars and customer meetings
  • Assist researching and developing new products based on customer specific needs
  • Provide prompt local and remote support for Proof of Concept (PoC), lab & field trials and deployment ramp up for CPE vendors
  • Research and stay up to date on the most recent industry standards and trends, emerging technology in network and server engineering, and have fundamental understanding of the principles of networking and cloud architectures

Requirements

Requirements

  • 3+ years related experience working with network, security and/or web technologies in APAC markets
  • Hands on experience in configuration of software and hardware including systems, cloud services and networking equipment
  • Experience working with large entities deploying large scale cloud native applications and SaaS networks to millions of end points
  • Proven experience and understanding of APAC market specificities and dynamics
  • Track record developing and maintaining communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels
  • Successful history developing and delivering new applications from ideation to GA
  • In-depth internet service providers/SME industry knowledge and understanding of SDN and wireless technologies, solutions and product offerings preferred
  • Advanced written and oral communication in order to communicate complicated concepts to non-technical people
  • Ambitious, can-do attitude with an intuitive understanding of product quality and solving technical problems creatively
  • Ability to travel
  • BS/BA in CS or EE or equivalent experience in technical support, product testing or QA
