However, blockchain applications are still struggling to enter the mainstream market, and one of the biggest obstacles is the complicated/cumbersome user experience.

Blocto is looking for a Senior Lead of Data Analytics to lead measurement across our integrated and product marketing and efforts. You will play an active role in influencing marketing optimizations and strategies through the building of reports and dashboards, as well as in-depth data analysis. You are responsible for consistent approaches to analyzing marketing and product-specific data, testing hypotheses and communicating recommendations.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical and quantitative problem solving skills, as well as excellent data visualization skills, preferably in Tableau. Excelling in this role will require the candidate to be confident in distilling complex data sets into actionable solutions and communicate these clearly verbally and in writing.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver ongoing reports and dashboards to define, implement, and monitor business and marketing OKRs and goals, maintaining and owning existing data pipelines/dashboards and ensuring accuracy
  • Responsible for providing thorough analysis on the performance of marketing campaigns (short- and long-term) as well as their impact on our main business goals
  • Evaluate the ROI/ROAS/ROMI of the different initiatives and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Deliver insights, visualization, analysis and predictive models to solve important business problems and optimize growth opportunities
  • Aid in the building and maintaining of marketing-based Tableau dashboards and data models that incorporate product data
  • Ensure activity across marketing campaign funnels and customer behavior flows are tagged and tracked accurately for reporting and analysis, across multiple channels, including, but not limited to; paid search, social, display and email marketing

Requirements

We’re sure you’re great, and in order to succeed in this role, you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from top university in a quantitative subject (computer science, mathematics, engineering, statistics or science)
  • 4+ years of experience as a Marketing Data Analyst, Data Analyst, Analytics Manager or similar role
  • Great understanding of Marketing and statistical methods (in particular attribution topics, methodologies like A B testing & incremental uplift); Must have good knowledge of SQL and experience with R or Python; Tableau experience is a plus
  • Great project management, measurement, and planning capability; taking ownership from the start to the finish
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, very comfortable using VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
  • Strong presentation and data storytelling skills. The ability to take difficult analytical concepts and tell an easy to understand, cohesive story is crucial
  • Data-minded and results-focused with experience in measuring the impact of promotions, campaigns etc
  • Crypto or blockchain experience is preferred
