RECOA – Renewable Construction Academy is searching for a Student Assistant to join our growing Taipei office.

You will play an important role in the collection, input, and maintenance of data for the RECOA Intelligence segment, but where required and subject to workload also support in other functions in the daily administration and content production of RECOA´s educational programmes.

A key challenge to the green transition is a shortage of skills and industry experience with one of the biggest drivers being insufficient training and education. RECOA is committed to addressing this challenge through developing new talent and upskilling experienced professionals from other sectors.

The Role

As a Student Assistant, you will provide daily support to the management and teams, gaining valuable exposure and experience to a variety of tasks that are integral to the success of the business.

Primarily, you will be responsible for the research, collection, and input of business data into the RECOA databases.

You will also be tasked with:

• Light translation tasks for letters, presentations, and company documents
• Assist in customer support duties and respond to inquiries on behalf of the Company
• Organizing company attendance for industry fairs and conferences
• Assist in media production (video/audio)

The ideal person will have the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Strong oral and written communication skills in English are required.
• Ability to communicate clearly, effectively and congenially in spoken and written English.
• Ability to speak and write in Mandarin is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Google applications.
• Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional suite.
• Novice or intermediate proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud suite is a plus
• Novice or intermediate proficiency in social media platforms is a plus.
• Detail-oriented and diligent to follow-up and complete tasks for assigned projects.
• A positive, pleasant attitude with good problem-solving skills.
