About the Company:

Worldwide leading network business is seeking an experienced Mechanical Product Designer for Networking Products in Taipei. You will have an opportunity to work with worldwide talents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed 3D CAD models, 2D drawing, and BOM for the product and search out materials and components
• Predict the system performance by conducting structural and thermal testing and analysis
• Develop component, specifications, and tolerances for production
• Build prototypes and improve design to make products be created
• Conduct mechanical feasibility study from initial ID concepts through sizing analysis, component selection, and performance qualification testing

Key Requirements:

• At least a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, 5 year’s working experience in design, and 3 year’s experience in consumer robot design or AGV moving platform design
• Experience in manufacturing processes (e.g. sheet metal, CNC machining), design for manufacturing, design for cost, and other DFX concepts
• Able to utilize SolidWorks and familiar with 3D CAD
• Able to design automation machine and select key components for application
• Able to co-work with multifunctional teams and external clients
• Familiar with smart home appliances and the outdoor product is a plus
