Reporting to the Head of Payments & Partnerships, the Channel Partnerships Manager will be responsible for driving new business to PayLater by building strong value-driven partnerships, and alternative channels. The role will work closely with the Country GMs to ensure that a pipeline of leads is being delivered to the Commercial team, and converted to new merchants.

Responsibilities
- Deliver strategy to achieve new merchant growth metrics and execute against targets, focusing on partnerships with channel partners
- Full end-to-end ownership of the phases of the Deal Cycle (Strategy, Deal Structure, Negotiations, and Closing)
- Support the Country GMs and Partnership teams in each market by developing partnership and demand-gen strategies, processes and best practices
- Coach new Partner Managers to help them deliver the country outcomes
- Support the sales team by helping drive tools and strategies that can assist with conversion (e.g. competitive positioning, whitepapers, content etc.)
- New markets: Drive the development of partners, events and inbound for new geographies and market segments
- Ensure that new business is being tracked, reported, and closed on Salesforce. This includes designing the tracking process from lead to close on Salesforce.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or any related field
- 4 - 8 years of relevant experience in channel/partner management
- Experience in managing relationships with strategic partners to bring in enterprise leads
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills
- Understanding of the payments ecosystem is a plus
