We are looking for an operations intern to join our rapidly growing tech startup team in Taipei! In this position, you will work on back office operations and team building activities. This opportunity is right for you if you are a self-starter, aren't afraid to ask questions and receive feedback, and are comfortable with facing the unknown.

Outcomes

This is what you’ll be tasked to achieve in this role:

Administration: manage daily office tasks, expense records, supply purchases, service bookings, translations, and generally make the office a better work environment

Events/ Activities: plan and organize company events, including happy hours, birthday parties, Soda Series

Coordination: in charge of cross-team tasks, including scheduling meetings, documentation, coordinating interviews, planning company workshops, assisting our team members at startup events

Company Culture: cultivate the company culture by supporting team members and continuously improving the work environment

These are the most critical competencies we’re seeking for in this role:
- Language ability: good command of English and Mandarin. Nice to have a third language. Beside English and Chinese, we speak Cantonese, Vietnamese, Korean, Taiwanese, French, Spanish, and Arabic :)
- Communication skills: speaks and writes clearly and articulately without being overly verbose or talkative
- Detail-oriented, organized and patient: operations tasks will always require accuracy and at other times can be tedious and time-consuming
- Passionate about people: enjoy interacting with people, uplifting others and igniting positive energy
- Startup mindset: expect the unexpected, take ownership of your work, motivate yourself to learn and grow in the position

Offers
1. During training period (the first 1-2 months): Stipend (lunch: 3,000/month + transportation: 1,000/month)
2. During working period: monthly salary (based on availability & ability)
3. Internship period: minimum 3 months. Work hours: 10am - 6pm. Work from home once a week
