We’re a diverse team of professionals, academics, and advisors with experience from leading institutions such as the London Stock Exchange, JPMorgan Chase and Sony. SupraOracles is headquartered in Delaware, Connecticut, however, you’ll be joining a globally distributed team with a presence in Taiwan, Australia, Singapore, USA, and growing.

Our project is spearheaded by seasoned professionals with experience in the architecture of consensus mechanisms, randomness research, real-time data services, investment banking, digital securities, traditional stock exchanges, big data, doctoral academia, big 4 consulting, blockchain/DLT, and DeFi. Getting Started with SupraOracles

Here at SupraOracles we like to give you some time to orientate yourself.
We’ll give you lots of time in your first month to do all of these important tasks.

• Get familiar with your team, the business, our vision, mission and our strategies for success.
• Up-skill as necessary to become familiar with the rapidly changing arena of DeFi creators and projects.
• Understand our core values.
• Set up 1-1 with your colleagues.
• Become familiar with the tools and processes we use.
• Analyze our product offerings.
• Jump in and be a part of the conversations!
• Participate to solve minor issues to learn our network's architecture.
• Become familiar with our codebase and future goals of the product.
• Participate in planning and feature development.
• Engineers - Write and review code to ensure that it’s understandable and aligns with the best coding practices set internally.

You will have regular discussions with your line manager so that you can gauge how your priorities fit in with team and company goals.

Are you the right person for this role?

The ideal candidate for us has:

• 3+ years strong background in software development
• Proficiency in programming languages like Rust, GoLang, JavaScript/NodeJS, Solidity (this mainly depends upon the project)
• Exposure to Web3 libraries is a big plus
• Experience in working with GitHub codebases
• Contributor to open-source projects
• Standard algorithms and data structure knowledge
• Advanced understanding of cryptography and smart contract development
• Familiarity with peer to peer networks
• Experience with popular blockchain technology including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and more
• Pro-active communication and collaboration abilities with native-level proficiency in written and oral English
