Synology has two decades of experience creating class-leading products across storage, backup, networking, and surveillance industries, and we're now putting that expertise into hybrid cloud and cloud native solutions. We're looking for world-class candidates to join our development teams to lead the next paradigm shift in IT infrastructure.

You'll be working on developing cloud-native software as a service (SaaS) solutions to back up and protect Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace deployments. Backup data will be securely stored to Synology's C2 cloud platform, providing organizations with a flexible and cost-effective disaster recovery option.

We design all our products for maximum dependability and ease of use. To achieve that, you'll work with others to deliver a product that offers a streamlined and consistent user experience, is reliable in operation, and most importantly, can be trusted by our customers to store their critical data securely.

You will:
- Design and develop cloud-based solutions that protect enterprise SaaS
- Build on top of Kubernetes infrastructure
- Develop front and back end applications
- Continuously pursue optimization goals
- Participate in all stages of software development — analysis, design, building, testing, implementation, and support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as PMs, UI/UX designers, and QC to build an amazing product

You are expected to have:
- Proficiency in C, C++
- Experience in multi-threading or network programming
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, whether you are working alone or as part of a team

We're targeting candidates with:
- Good understanding of Linux fundamentals
- Familiarity with data structures and database operations
- Experience using JavaScript, CSS, and/or Golang
- Experience with each stage of the software development life cycle
