  • Taelor徵五年以上工作經驗的產品暨品牌設計師,用英文與矽谷產品、科技及時尚採購團隊合作,以敏捷開發及scrum方式建立給美國消費者的數位產品。
  • 負責網站、app(用戶網站及app、穿搭師內部工具網站)用戶體驗設計、視覺設計,以及行銷品牌設計。
  • 負責的產品包括有:
    • 潛在用戶網站、app:給消費者成為男裝租賃訂閱會員。需有時尚感的視覺設計。
    • 會員網站、app:給會員選品、追蹤包裹、提供租賃的衣服反饋、與穿搭師溝通。須考慮複雜的線上線下用戶體驗。
    • 穿搭師、物流專員後台:給穿搭師選品、物流專員出貨使用的平台。須考慮複雜的穿搭及循環時尚逆物流過程,需有豐富的用戶體驗設計經驗。
    • 品牌行銷素材:須考量美國消費者的需求、與其他時尚品牌夥伴合作,並與美國行銷品牌經理密切合作。

Taelor is looking for a seasonal hybrid designer who is both a digital product design UX/UI designer for website, web apps and internal tools, and an amazing marketing brand creative designer. This is a remote role in Taiwan who will be working closely with our PM in the U.S. and engineers in the U.S., China and Taiwan.

You have the unique opportunity to make an impact right off the bat and work directly with our engineering team of senior executives in the industry — whose resumes include building AI for Meta (Facebook/Instagram)’s Metaverse AR/VR, shipping AI for Facebook’s influencer advertising, optimizing machine learning for Instagram’s recruiting teams, building web and app for eBay’s global platforms, developing gaming apps for Electronic Arts, and pioneering the world's first set of Google Progressive Web Apps later featured on Chrome conference.

The tech team is the power source of the whole company, allowing teams to innovate through developing and owning the tech systems. You will help design and work with scrum team to implement, build, integrate, upgrade, and maintain our eCommerce sites, operation platforms, and styling tools. You have the opportunity to build our consumer-facing website features by working with our CEO, Anya Cheng, who was named 40 Under 40 Girls in Tech and was the winner of a Webby Award, the “Oscars of the tech industry.” You will also build out operation tools by working with our COO, Phoebe Tan, who was an executive of a leading food company which was the operation supplier of Amazon Go, Starbucks and Singapore Airlines. You will also build the styling tool by working with our fashion stylists who are from public companies like Stitch Fix.

Besides designing, you have the chance to impact strategic decisions — You will assist with the product roadmap planning, designing the service flow, and even potentially evaluating licensing vender’s technology, or engaging in merger and acquisition of other startups’ technology.

As a UX/UI Designer, You will design a variety of Taelor’s technologies — consumer website, subscriber membership platform, styling tool, operational tools, online-offline experience, recommendation engines and more. Product Designers at Taelor play a central role in the way we build products ensuring our products and features are valuable for people, easy to use and of the highest level of craft and execution. By focusing on people and doing the simple things first, we develop quality experiences for some of the world’s most challenging problems. Product Designers help creatively solve big, complicated, real-world problems. We utilize a full range of product design skills to contribute to high-level strategic decisions with the rest of the product and executive teams. As a Marketing Designer, you design marketing materials for our digital and offline channels; you ensures a consistent and strong creative narrative for work that reaches an audience across the U.S. You will lead brand design systems. This leader will be responsible for cultivating a vision for how the brand manifests across surfaces and integrated channels, guiding our internal and external marketing related agency/team members. This role should aim to develop a timeless brand, elevate and raise the quality of design work, demonstrate advocacy for design-led experiences and systems. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in brand architecture, craft and design thinking, a proven track record of leading integrated efforts and has the ability to do the art work. The ability to thrive and create a vision for work in a fast-paced, iterative, unstructured environment is critical. You will grow our evolving design practice within consumer marketing, guiding the broader team to redefine how design is experienced.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Work independently to complete projects at the level of whole features within a well scoped domain. Lead and deliver design projects of ambiguous scope
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, UX researchers and content strategists to iterate and oversee the user experience of a product from conception until launch
  • Design flows and experiences that are incredibly simple and elegant for our supported platforms
  • Design new experiences or layouts that evolve or define visual systems
  • Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable design flows and experiences that simplify and distill down complex actions into usable interfaces
  • Contribute to strategic decisions around the future direction of Taelor products
  • Interaction design experience with knowledge of defining how an experience should behave based on understanding people's needs, plus consideration of how this innovation will scale.
  • Use appropriate prototyping tools to demonstrate how a particular flow or interaction will work.
  • Design marketing materials across all channels, including brand system, eNewsletter, social media post, blog cover, event digital flyers, trade show booth and roll up banner, box packaging, holiday cards, press media kit images, investor pitch decks and more.
  • Bring strategic acumen for building timeless brands through brand architecture
  • Create brand systems, behaviors and design solutions with a high level of craft
  • Work cross-functionally, balancing the needs of stakeholders and breaking down complex narratives into simple, compelling ideas
  • Collaborate with creatives, researchers, product managers, product marketers and engineers to serve a U.S. nationwide audience
  • Design conceptual brand expressions that communicate brand intention and value

Qualifications

  • Experience building and shipping applications or software at the level of whole features/products across a variety of platforms
  • Experience in interaction design experience with knowledge to define how an experience should behave based on understanding people's needs. Experience in prototyping
  • Strong visual design experience with proficiency in typography, desktop/mobile UI, color, layout, iconography and aesthetic sense
  • Strategic product thinking with the experience of understanding product goals, identifying opportunities, and making decisions based on the impact to people and the company
  • Visual design experience with proficiency in typography, desktop/mobile UI, color, layout, iconography and aesthetic sense and how these elements impact product function.
  • Experience designing applications or software and have relevant design portfolio. Portfolio featuring user-friendly product design, web design and branding work
  • Experience showcasing your end-to-end design process, including interaction and visual design artifacts, multiple iterations, and high-fidelity prototypes
  • Have a strong background in brand architecture, craft and design thinking, with a proven track record of working on integrated efforts
  • Comfortable working across many media touch points, creating rigorous design systems
  • You're a conceptual thinker who can bring your ideas to life in new and inspiring ways
  • Experience in designing for brands
  • Experience across the full palette of design expression: traditional, digital (including products), experiential, and ideas that drive earned media
  • Experience with self-initiated projects
  • Fluent in English
