Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of BD to drive product sales and strategic partnerships with other blockchain and DeFi projects. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of Teahouse Finance in the rapidly evolving blockchain ecosystem.

You will:

  • Drive the usage and sales of Teahouse products and services. Teahouse has a wide selection of products & services with both B2C and B2B applications. Identify the high-potential customers, then develop, implement, and verify the effectiveness of a sales plan with monthly targets.
  • Develop long-term partnerships. Research and identify potential blockchain and DeFi projects that align with Teahouse Finance's goals. Develop a pipeline of potential partners and proactively initiate discussions and negotiations. Establish relationships and build strong connections with key decision-makers in target organizations. Lead negotiations, draft partnership agreements, and oversee partnership activities.
  • Perform reporting and analytics. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales & partnerships. Provide regular updates and reports to the executive team on progress, including achievements, challenges, and potential areas of improvement.
  • Build a network within the ecosystem. Attend relevant industry conferences, seminars, and events to network with industry leaders and key stakeholders. Represent Teahouse Finance professionally and effectively communicate our value proposition to potential partners. Build and maintain a strong network within the blockchain and DeFi community.
  • Compose market research and competitive analysis: Stay informed about the latest trends, developments, and innovations in the blockchain and DeFi space. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities. Provide insights to the executive team on potential market entry and product strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree is preferred.
  • Over 5 years of experience in a BD, sales, and/or partnership role with a proven track record within the blockchain or DeFi industry.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of blockchain technology, DeFi protocols, and the broader cryptocurrency ecosystem.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills with the ability to establish and maintain relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Analytical mindset when performing market research, identifying trends, and translating data into actionable insights.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven. Can work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving industry.
  • Fluent in both English and Chinese at a business level.
  • Passion for blockchain technology, decentralized finance, and the missions of Teahouse Finance.
