At TechDesign, we aim to bring the electronic supply chain online and make hardware innovation accessible to everyone. You will be integral in building an online platform that connects hardware creators/start-ups, design houses, and electronic suppliers together. You will gain deep insights into the electronic ecosystem landscape, and architect the building blocks of our platform, and build web-based products/modulized services to deliver a revolutionized hardware design experience online for users.

• Work with our business owners to identify market opportunities, target segments, build business cases, and define our product/service vision and strategy, in order to provide a holistic user experience
• Understand and analyse user needs throughout the hardware innovation and electronic sourcing journey – from design, sourcing, to production – to architect our online platform
• Translate product strategy into detailed specification and prototypes; scope and prioritize product features based on business and customer impact
• Project-manage the development of web-based system and product features; work with engineers and technologies to build, develop and launch products in an effective manner
• Leverage data-driven metrics to make product feature design and development decisions

Minimum qualifications:
• 3-6+ years in the product management, engineering and technology strategy role; experience in web-based services, enterprise system and/or software development and relevant skillset (e.g. UIUX, A/B testing, data analytics)
• Bachelor degree or above is required; Computer Science/EE or equivalent practice preferred
• Strong communication skills; able to work independently with business owners to understand requirements and collaborate with engineers to deliver high quality products
• Skilled in at least one modern programming language (Ruby, Node, Java, Python, JavaScript, Angular, Laravel, etc.); familiarity with SCRUM methodology preferred
• Language: Good written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin)

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience leading entrepreneurial efforts, and/or project management experience
• Experience in 2B solutions and hardware space, and SaaS/PaaS model is a plus
• Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple projects in fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented in workflow processes and resolution
• A cross-functional influencer with ability to build strong relationships
