At TECHDesign, we aim to bring the electronic supply chain online and make hardware innovation accessible to everyone. You will gain insights into our target customer segments – including hardware innovators, start-ups, and SMEs, market the TECHDesign platform, and develop hardware project pipeline. You will build relationships and manage the commercial arrangements with key ecosystem partners, including System Integrators (SIs), VCs/incubators/accelerators, hardware communities, cloud service providers, and industrial committees/associations. You will be growing a community, and facilitating the interactions between buyers and suppliers in our platform ecosystem.  

TECHDesign’s E-Commerce Platform allows suppliers and buyers to sell and buy products on our highly-scalable and reliable infrastructure for web, mobile and backend solutions.

As a Backend Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to shape and deliver TECHDesign’s products including: E-Commerce Website, sophisticated CRM system, Backend RESTful API, Cloud Infrastructure, Big Data, CI/CD, Docker/VM and more. You will quickly become an expert for designing elegant cloud-based solutions and see the benefits of our technology come to life.

When delivering solutions, we focus on optimal system performance, better stability, better security, and flexibility of scale out. Thus skills about performance tuning, scheme design, server development and architecture can equip us become backend experts.

[Responsibilities]

1. Responsible for building a highly interactive web application according to demands from stakeholders.
2. Involve in system architecture, design, implementation, code review, bug fixing and troubleshooting.
3. Deliver solutions which consider optimal performance, better stability, and flexibility of scale out
4. Integrate new technologies and techniques into existing systems.
5. Work with team members to ensure efficient development workflows.

[Minimum qualifications]
·Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
·3 years of experience on backend design, implementation and architecture.
·Expert on performance tuning and backend troubleshooting.
·Expert on PHP, Python and other backend language.
·Familiar with Restful API design and implementation.
·Familiar with relational database and NoSQL database.
·Familiar with operation systems of Linux, AWS.
·Familiar with Git or other source control tools.
·Good communication and collaboration with team members.

[Preferred qualifications]
·Strong knowledge of open-source libraries/packages.
·Familiar with PHP framework, like Laravel.
·Familiar with CI/CD.
·Familiar with network protocols.
·Familiar with maintaining robust and scalable production services.
