Job Description

The ideal candidates will be responsible for managing and engaging with the Ideal’s community. We are looking for a qualified Community manager to join our team. If you are a tech-savvy professional, experienced in social media, PR and promotional events, we would like to meet you. Our ideal candidate has exceptional oral and written communication skills and is able to develop engaging content. You should be a ‘people person’ with great customer service skills and the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community. Ultimately, you should be able to act as the face and voice of our brand and manage all community communications, events and partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Set and implement social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies
• Working with marketing team to provide engaging text, image and video content for social media accounts and offline events
• Respond to comments and community queries in a timely manner
• Understanding and keeping up to date with all Ideal’s clients progress
• Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness
• Coordinate with Marketing, PR and Communications teams to ensure brand consistency
• Liaise with management team to stay updated on new products, service and features of Ideal to communicate to new and existing clients of Ideal
• Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals and government officials
• Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends, startup investments and the start-up ecosystem
• Participate in consulting sessions with Ideal Clients
• Client Retention and Relationship Management
• Participate in high level meetings, partnerships and investments

Requirements

We seek candidates who share our values and have outstanding qualities, such as leadership, resilience, integrity, a digital mindset, strong communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse group of people.

• Native written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin
• Proven work experience as a community manager is a huge plus
• Experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter)
• Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics Excellent verbal communication skills
• Excellent people skills
• Hands on experience with client management and relationship building
• Ability to interpret online/offline traffic and customer engagement metrics
• Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels
• Copywriting
• Positive and proactive attitude; self-initiative.
• Experience in a startup or has experience managing/working with startups

There will be two rounds of interviews, series of questions and chats.
