Security Analytic Engine (SAE), a cloud-based analytic engine is what we’re building now with the streaming technology which plays a key role in Trend Micro™ XDR that correlates hundreds of billions of activity data collected from Trend Micro products per day to produce value with high-fidelity and real-time alerts for Trend Micro™ XDR customers. To make this happen, this team consists of talents from different domains or with subject matter knowledge including software development, threat expert & data scientist. In order to continuously produce reliable and quality output in such changing environment, this team runs autonomously with agile approach & practices DevOps, most importantly, it’s highly motivated, fast-learning & enthusiastic for a better result.

What You’ll Do

Data Engineer / Data analyst engineer is to help us doing POC, designing and implementing systems or components on top of cloud infrastructure which processes a tremendous volume of data. Additionally, you can help us creating new data pipelines based on different needs or maintaining the existing ones. Also, be the partner of data scientists or threat experts to provide the data they request for cooking new solutions or making a solution-wise decision

What We Believe are Important Traits for This Role

• Familiar with data lake & ETL concept
• Solid knowledge of one of backend programming languages such as Java or Golang
• Experience with Python pandas & data visualization
• Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases like Elasticsearch & Kibana, MySQL
• Experience with data processing technology like Apache Spark
• Experience with cloud analytic services like EMR, Athena, Glue
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, cloud application & data pipeline development & operation on AWS (Azure is a big plus)
